 | First of all, be careful not to put your photos in cheap albums that may damage them over time. Look for archival or acid-free materials on the labels, to preserve your memories for a lifetime.
Shoot a maximum of pictures for each important moment: the wedding preparations, the engagement photos, getting dressed, the invitations, the bachelorette party, the wedding ceremony, the wedding reception, the honeymoon, etc.
Mix angles, shootings, points of views, colour balances. Mix black and white with colour pictures. Black and white will give you more artistic looking photographs but colour is more casual.
Mix formal with casual photographs, family portraits with more private pictures.
Scrapbooking is about telling stories so incorporate related Embellishments and keepsakes such as wedding invitations, fabric from your dress or bridesmaid dress, menus, place cards, napkins, honeymoon plane tickets. Incorporate them either directly on the page or in special pockets.
Include captions and titles (they may be the name of the married couple or lyrics, phrases, dates, etc.)
Use papers and album embellishments that will match with your theme and colour scheme. |
